Part I Research
Investigate the past and present of your chosen site using only the highest quality sources material (the University's data bases, libraries, museums, historical societies). Be sure to include in-line citations and a bibliograpy. (2-3 + pages)

usage - living, industrial, recreational, etc.

Part III Fiction*
Write a short story inspired by your chosen site and what you have learned from your research and field work. Choose two of your favorite authors for guidance in terms of structure, character development, arc of events, tone, detail, etc. (3+ pages)
