Staple Gun – Arrow or Swingline are good brands

Paint  (UTRECHT or GAMBLIN are good values in oil paint)

Large tubes: 

Utrecht White or Titanium White or Titanium/Zinc blend

Ultramarine Blue (deep)

Small tubes:

Hansa Yellow Medium

Hansa Yellow Light

Cadmium Red Light

Napthol Red

Burnt Umber

Pthalocyanine Blue

Alizarin Crimson

Mineral Spirits (paint thinner)  1 quart or more* Gamsol is recommended

Optional mediums: Galkyd, Neo-Megilp, G-gel, Cold Wax, Winsor and Newton Glazing and Blending Medium

Coil Jar with Lid

Medium Jar with Lid   mustard or Jam jar

Palette:  masonite or plexiglass

Paint Box  tool/tackle box* to hold your paints, brushes, medium, etc.

Paint brushes  natural bristle brushes either bright, filbert, flat, or round

e.g. 1 @ #4, 1 @ #8 1 @ #10 or #12

Gesso Brush  2” utility brush (house paint brush).*

Palette Knife  medium sized (ant shape) with a bend between blade and handle - get two or three different sizes if possible

Shirt, Apron, etc.  to protect your clothes.  You want to be able to get messy!
