Obsession/Comfort

For Tuesday 4/28 please submit an inspo board composed of images from the list and/or the Powerpoint below and also six strong thumbnails

Many artists throughout history have known to be visually obsessed, whether their obsession takes the form of a favorite model, a particular landscape, an object(s); or perhaps an imaginary vision, a quality of light, a color, a texture...

What are you obsessed with?  How can you make a painting out or about this obsession?

1. Brainstorm a number of ideas: make a list - choose the three you prefer

2. Brainstorm materials, colors, composition, scale: make a list

3. Make an inspo board pulling imagery from the list below or the powerpoint

4. Do a series of thumbnails, several for each obsessive idea

5. Commit to one idea

Below is a short list of artists (I could go on and on) whom I consider to be obsessed in some way with some kind of visual entity (they are in no particular order.)
